Dragon’s Wing
Last night I dreamt I was protected by a Dragon’s Wing.
Kept warm and safe while I slept.
Last night I dreamt you were watching over me.
Keeping danger at bay while I slept.
Never before did you stand over my dreams.
Protecting me from I know not what.
Yet I know that if you had not spread you wing over me,
Some harm would have befallen me.
You spoke not of this,
Not even when told I had seen you there.
Will you be there again?
Will I feel warm and safe?
Or will I face unknown dangers,
to find my own way thru?
Will I succeed if you do not stand by me
to face this challenge?
Only the night will me what will be!

El Ala del Dragón
Anoche soñé que estaba protegida por el ala de un dragón
Que me mantenía calentita y segura mientras dormía
Anoche soñé que me protegías
Manteniendo acorralado el peligro mientras dormía
Nunca antes estuviste en mis sueños
Protegiéndome de no sé qué
Pero sé que si no hubieses abierto tu ala sobre mí
Algún daño me hubiese alcanzado
No hablaste de esto
Ni siquiera cuando te dije que te había visto allí
¿Estarás allí de nuevo?
¿Me sentiré calentita y segura?
¿O afrontaré peligros desconocidos
Para encontrar en ellos mi camino?
¿Tendré éxito si no estás a mi lado
Para afrontar este reto?
Sólo la noche será lo que es!
