Each day we do what society expects
We work to earn money to spend so others
…may earn money that they will spend so others
…may earn money that they will spend so others
…may earn money that the will spend…
And so the cycle continues as we pursue
What society says is the responsible thing to do
But one day somebody decides that what
society expects is not what they desire
It does not feed the soul although it might feed the body
They feel stifled, are withering and dying
Their soul needs a voice to shout all they feel
Society looks on, shaking it head,
not understanding this misguided being,
so concerned with freedom and creativity,
they would rather starve
than stifle their voice one more day
Society can not understand how this being
can turn its back on the cycle that
is the ultimate goal
How can one feed the soul but starve the body
They see it as death never understanding
that a body with a soul that has
withered and died is no longer alive
So it can not be killed for the
Soul is already dead
