Legendary Artists Basil Gogos, Ken Kelly, Chris Achilleos, & Rowena Morrill to judge event, with $10,000 prize on the line – November 23 & 24, 2013
LONG BEACH, CA (October 16, 2013) – Long Beach Comic and Horror Convention is proud to announce that it will be hosting Infected By Art’s global search for the world’s best Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Illustrated and Horror artists. Jury panel members Larry Elmore, Rowena, Enric, and Chris Achilleos will choose the top images to be included in the Season 2 compilation art book. $10,000 in prize money will also be given to the top award winners.
Season 2 is underway and will conclude at Midnight November 24th, the last day of the convention. So if you want your art to be represented in this incredible art book, please go to www.infectedbyart.com and enter the contest online.
Volume 1 books are available on line and will be available for sale at the convention as well. Limited Edition Hard Cover volumes 1 book are also available and feature different covers by Season 1 Jury Panel members Ken Kelly, Basil Gogos, Sanjulian and Arthur Suydam.
LBCHC and Infected By Art will also be hosting a “Meet the Legends” Saturday evening that will include a Q&A session with Jury Panel Members Basil Gogos, Chris Achilleos, Ken Kelly and Rowena, as well as Season 1 cover artist Derak Zabrocki.
Celebrating the 5th anniversary with a weekend full of special guests and exhibitors, and engaging panels, Long Beach Comic & Horror Con will be open on Saturday, November 23 from 10:00am to 7:00pm, and from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday, November 24 at the Long Beach Convention Center. Advanced ticket holders gain early admission, starting at 9:30 am each day.
