LBCC16 GoGeekGirl Exclusive Tommy Walker Interview

Tommy Walker - Long Beach Comic ConTommy Walker (Daredevil, Henry Danger) took a few minutes out of his visit to Long Beach Comic Con for an exclusive GoGeekGirl interview ranging from Daredevil to Henry Danger.

One of the many things I love about this show are the people I have met there over the years. Though you meet some of the same people at larger shows, it is harder to get the time to be able to just chat and start to get to know each other. This interview actually came from just such an initial meeting back at Long Beach Comic Con 2015. While I was visiting the Top Cow booth, Tommy and his wife came over so that he could see Marc Silvestri, who he is a fan of. This led to our crossing paths a few more times until finally the stars aligned and we both had a few minutes to do a quick interview at the show this year.

Let me just tell you this, this man may play some villains on screen, but when he is meeting his fans, he is anything but a villain. He obviously loves what he does and enjoys engaging with fans. He even let one masked vigilante take a swing (staged of course) at him.

With only a few minutes before he had to run off to another commitment at the show he still managed to talk about Daredevil and even one of his favorite memories of his time on the show. Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger and even what we can do to help him have the opportunity to be Booster Gold.

Thank you Tommy for taking time out of your Long Beach Comic Con to answer a few questions for your fans and GoGeekGirl readers.

Oh, one last thing… A quick shout out to HobbyTron.com for saving my day and this interview. Nothing like having your record batteries die and having the wrong batteries in your bag. After scouring the show floor for anybody selling batteries I finally ended up at their booth. Though they weren’t selling batteries they pulled a battery from a remote and loaned it to me, trusting me to come back after the interview to return it. That is another wonderful things about shows like this, people helping others out.
