COMICS LEGEND NEAL ADAMS AT ILLUSIVE COMICS & GAMES
Illusive Comics & Games hosts its first signing with artist Neal Adams on Thursday, May 15, 2014, from 5-8pm. The first autograph will be free, with additional autographs $10 each. Portfolios, art prints, comics, books, and sketches will be available for purchase. CGC will be on-hand to witness signatures for grading. Adams will also take drawing commissions. Adams is an award-winning artist who has been instrumental in the comic book world for over 50 years. He has worked on Batman, X-Men, Green Lantern/Green Arrow, and Deadman and many other titles. He is an inductee to both the Eisner Awards’ Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame and the Harvey Awards’ Jack Kirby Hall of Fame. Adams’ influence is most felt in his re-establishing Batman as a dark and brooding character and his creation of Ra’s al Ghul, both of which paved the way for the recent Batman movies; as well as his introduction of social commentary to the Green Lantern/Green Arrow series.
