I’ve been running a little behind on the books I wanted to read. Today I finally had the chance to stop long enough to read Robyn Hood vs Red Riding Hood, a one shot from Zenescope written by Pat Shand, pencils by David Cutler and JG Miranda.
It was everything I was hoping for and more. A story well told (thank you Pat Shand) and art that fit the tale, though as with most Zenescope books there are times you stop and wonder… just how do they think the female body moves? But in this issue it wasn’t quite as prevalent as in some books. You get to see the humanity (and inhumanity) of the characters in a way that is suitable for the tale being told.
I hope these two characters cross paths again as they seem to compliment each other even when they are opponents.
