Robyn Hood returns in this new, epic story arc! As a mysterious villain calling himself ‘the Sheriff’ begins to terrorize Nottingham, the people that Robyn once liberated are again in need of her help. But with the police searching for her on Earth, Robyn has her own problems. Can Robyn rise up and be the hero that Nottingham needs, or will she be forced to face the consequences of her own actions? Find out in the sequel to the fan favorite series, Robyn Hood: Wanted!

Robyn Hood: Wanted picks up where Robyn Hood left off, with Robyn on the run and looking for answers. The people of Myst free from the tyranny of King John, but are they truly free or just ripe for another tyrant to step in and subjugate the people?  Shand does a nice job of bringing the reader up to speed, so if you didn’t read volume 1 don’t worry about being lost. You won’t be.

If the cover doesn’t tell you that the females in this book aren’t as over the top (yes I did mean the pun) as in most Zenescope books, then just turn the page and you will quickly learn that the cover was not an exception.  I should point out that the cover I am talking about is the same one that is the image used with this review.  This is cover A and I was happy to note not only the muscle definition but also that although she could easily have a wardrobe malfunction, she is again not being portrayed as an overly well endowed female.  Add to this the coloring that helps the reader know when they are in Myst and when they are on Earth.  This makes the flipping back and forth between the two realms much simpler to follow as the reader is brought up to speed.

Hopefully Shand has completed the history and is ready to advance Robyn’s tale.  Looking forward to what her new adventures will entail.
