BMI and White Bear PR to Present ‘The Character of Music’ Panel Discussion at San Diego Comic-Con 2013
Have you ever ‘watched’ a movie or television show that you have seen many times without actually looking at the screen? Did know exactly what was happing simply from the music? I find myself doing this more and more after having attended The Character of Music panel at San Diego Comic-Con the past few years. Prior to that I didn’t quite take the music for granted, but I didn’t really pay attention to how much it can enhance what you are watching when done well. And how much it can spoil the show when done poorly. It doesn’t hurt that panels have always been enlightening, entertaining and intriguing. I have had no regrets and highly recommend this panel.
WHO: Broadcast Music Inc.® (BMI®), a global leader in music rights management, and White Bear PR will return to 2013 Comic-Con to present a dynamic panel discussion about the working relationship between film composer and executive director. Other topics will include the role of music as a character in story and the intense process of scoring film projects. BMI Director, Film/TV Relations Anne Cecere and White Bear PR Founder Chandler Poling will serve as panel moderators. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.
