With so much happening at San Diego Comic-Con International it was difficult to get to all the Wynonna Earp related events. From a fan meet up at the San Diego Comic Art Gallery in Liberty Station on Preview Night, to panels and signings and supposedly a 2nd fan meet up it was clear that Wynonna Earp on SyFy is a hit for SyFy, SEVEN24 Films and IDW Entertainment.
The one Wynonna Earp related event I was able to at least swing by, was the signing on Saturday afternoon at the IDW booth. Sadly time didn’t permit me to get there early enough (or stay around long enough) to have gotten a spot in line. But that’s ok. Instead I was able to easily observe the creator and cast interacting with their fans.
Everybody was having so much fun. This did have the side-effect of slowing down the autograph line, but IDW handled this with their usual efficiency of quickly rearranging placement and timing of two other signing to allow all the fans in line to get their chance to meet everybody with undampened spirits. In case you are wondering, I don’t care how good an actor you are, you can’t fake the sparkling eyes and genuine smiles that they had for each and every fan that came through. From singing items to taking selfies with fans, they were warm and friendly. You could easily see the camaraderie of this team.
