Just realized that life has been moving so insanely fast this year that I have not met with my mentor since December. Must remedy that, but wow how much I have accomplished since I last saw him. Things he and I discussed that were just visions last time are real now, one of those is the site which even the logo didn’t exist beyond concept back then. And now, it has traffic, I am getting more content and even have my business cards ordered.
I know I have pushed hard to achieve this much but it is sometimes hard to believe that last year at SDCC this wasn’t even more than a pipe dream.
One article, one comment in that article and everything has taken off since then. There is still so much more to this dream, but in less than one year it has progressed so very far. Things I never thought I could do I have done. People I never thought I would meet I now consider to be friends. It all sometimes just seems so surreal.
For those of you that have believed in me even when I didn’t think I could do some of the things I have done you will have my undying gratitude for your belief. For those of you that have put up with my vague and sometimes (ok often) hyper posts with little detail, thank you for putting up with me. For those of you that doubt you can achieve your dreams, don’t doubt just work toward them, one step at a time and if at all possible find a mentor that sees more in you than you do, they are invaluable.
