The wound has been dealt
The pain has been felt
Words once said
Are upon the wind
They fly as they will
and can not be pulled in
The pain is felt
most deeply indeed
A pain not undone
by a simple apology

Said in haste and anger
They can not be unsaid
Take care of thy words
for words truly are
mightier than the sword
