Back in September I ran off to Las Vegas for a few days, not to gamble, not to party, but to sleep, see a few friends and decompress. I definitely did a lot of the sleeping thing, guess it was a sign of just how exhausted I was that I slept more than anything else while I was there. Did a lot to refresh me and help me get back to being me (until of course I got back to the day to day insanity back home).
But the best parts were seeing friends, one of whom I hadn’t seen in more years than I want to think about. Dinner with a friend and her boyfriend, whom I had not met before that night but totally enjoyed spending time with the two of them. And getting together for dinner and then some photography with yet another friend. Those get togethers were spaced out between lots of sleep.
Looking forward to making another trip out to Vegas to see friends and sleep. Yes, I am strange the casinos don’t attract me like they once did, but seeing my friends, resting and maybe next time even catching a show, those things make Vegas a nice trip and I actually enjoy the drive out there.
