Day 2 of WonderCon is done and gone. It was another epic day surrounded by people and things that bring smiles to my face. From friends to art to comics to music to cos-players. Conversations with perfect strangers that just come naturally as we share a moment appreciating the artistry surrounding us.
Today was a bit more hectic for me than yesterday but that didn’t make today any less enjoyable. There was the Top Cow panel with Matt Hawkins, Larime Taylor and Marc Silvestri. Followed by a quick trip to the exhibit floor to ensure a few photos were taken ass well as pass something along to be delivered to a friend. And yet another impromptu conversation and a quick glimpse at the Tales of Honor game that is coming.
Then the rush back upstairs to catch what I still could of the IDW Panel which I had wanted to cover. I guess 1/2 a panel is better than none of it but I was sad to have to miss even that much. Timing is everything and with three panels back to back it wasn’t possible to do all that I would have wished to have done.
This was followed by yet another amazing panel curtesy of BMI and White Bear PR. I haven’t missed one of their panels at San Diego or WonderCon for the past few years, each one is unique and fun.

Another trip to the floor… no wait let me take a short break then visit the floor (yes it happened almost just like that) I needed a break from the crowds for a few but that break was fairly short lived as I returned to the floor with a couple friends.
A short break at the hotel (always nice to offload things and take a short breather) then dinner from another food truck (this one though good didn’t seem to make my stomach happy), people watching while eating dinner and then back to cos-play photography. Well I guess I shot more than I thought as my media card was suddenly full. This became the sign that it was a good idea to go relax for the evening.
Though I know there was probably some shots I missed but being able to relax knowing there is still day 3 to come meant I could take my time trying to select the handful of photos that would make the teaser list.
